Terms of service

Last updated 7 October 2026. These terms are between Renomate ("we") and the business that signs up ("you"). Renomate is for business use only.

1. The service

Renomate provides an AI assistant that reads customer enquiries sent to an email address you forward to us and replies on your behalf using only the information from your website and the notes you provide. Anything it cannot answer, and any complaint, is passed to you. Every reply states it comes from an assistant and is copied to you.

2. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the information you give us and for checking it is accurate and up to date.
• You must only forward emails you are entitled to share, and must tell your customers (for example in your privacy notice) that you use an AI assistant and service providers to handle enquiries.
• The assistant can make mistakes. It does not give legal, medical, financial or safety advice, and you should review the summaries we send you.

3. Price and cancellation

£29 per month after a 7-day free trial, payable through Stripe. No contract: cancel at any time and access ends at the end of the period you have paid for. We may change the price with 30 days' notice. We may suspend accounts used for spam or unlawful messages.

4. Our liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude liability that cannot be excluded by law. Otherwise our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid in that period, and we are not liable for loss of profit or indirect loss. The service is provided as is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability or of any number of enquiries or sales.

5. Data processing terms (UK GDPR Article 28)

For personal data in the enquiries you forward to us, you are the controller and we are your processor. We will: process it only on your documented instructions (these terms and your use of the service); make sure people authorised to process it are bound by confidentiality; keep it secure with appropriate technical and organisational measures; use only the sub-processors listed in our privacy notice (Anthropic, Google, Railway, Stripe) under written terms, and tell you before adding any; help you respond to people's rights requests and to security incidents; tell you without undue delay if we become aware of a personal data breach; delete or return the data when your account ends (within 30 days) unless the law requires us to keep it; and let you check our compliance on reasonable request. International transfers to sub-processors are covered by appropriate safeguards.

6. General
